classifieds / yellow pages ads at ivarta
Tip #1: Title - is the most important part of your ad
Over 90% of visitors use the search facility to find ads they are looking for. Therefore,
- Include your Product
names or Services in the title (like “Toshiba Laptop for sale”
or “Insurance and Tax Service in Chicago” etc.)
- Include the city and nearby (famous) locations in the title
- DO NOT include your company name in the title (No one will search for it)
- Avoid the/and/for/on/in words in the title. They are waste of space.
Here are some examples of good and bad title (these ware actually taken from our
database)

Best: Chicago: Apartment for Rent 2BHK $1500, PG
or Bangalore: House for Sale or Rent 5BHK

Tip #2: Description
The rule is: Well Written Description = More Visitors. Some people write description
in one or two lines. Please understand this is not going to help you anyway. No
one is going to be interested in your advt with so
less words in the description.
Make sure you write description of your product or service with atleast 5 lines
and it has all the important keywords in it. Write
grammatically correct content and do not stuff the meaningless/unrelated keywords
– Do not stuff the words - Keyword stuffing is a big NO NO at ivarta. You
must write a meaningful and grammatically correct description. If we we notice any
effort to stuff the keywords we will simply delete the advt.
Tip #3: Unique content is a must to remain on the top
People like a unique content on every page and therefore they do not take the similar
content kindly. In fact all similar pages on a website are generally ignored by
the visitors.
Therefore, if you add your classifieds at our site regularly (as per the allowed
frequency) always make sure that every time you enter a different meaningful description
(a variation of atleast 30% of the description) everytime. Do not ever use contents/text
from a template which is exactly same every time. Its always good not to repeat an ad than to use the same content. Our editors delete all the similar advts without
a notice to the author or the advertiser.
Tip #4: Are you a frequent visitors/user of our classified section?

What is considered as SPAM at iVarta.com?
To keep our database SPAM-Free our editors verify every classified inserted by the
advertisers. If they notice that some classifieds or urls are being added repetitively
(at the frequency higher than the accepted frequency) our editors will delete such
ads.
It is possible that the different individuals are adding the advt. But since they
are very similar in title/text/description we consider this as a spam and it is
possible that all related advts will be deleted from our database. As an extreme
measure we may even ban certain IP addresses.
